2009 Gala & Auction - Wrap-up Information
Hyde-Addison Elementary school is proud to be the only public elementary school in Georgetown. In 2009, the school hosted its 12th Annual Auction, Ecofest 2009, held at the House of Sweden on November 13th. It was the school’s largest fundraising event of the year and was a resounding success, grossing over $75,000 of revenue. Parents of Hyde-Addison children were key to the record amount of revenue raised, as was the unparalleled support of the Georgetown community and area local and international businesses.
The children of Hyde-Addison benefit in so many ways from the funds raised to support the school. A portion of Ecofest revenue has been allocated to support the expansion of our dedicated science lab including new science kits. This will allow Hyde-Addison students the opportunity to explore the world of science in a deeper and more meaningful way.

Ecofest 2009 Co-Chairs would like to extend an enormous and heartfelt thank you to the many volunteers who so selflessly gave of their time to make this event possible.
